Days to go

Goals now counts your goal down in days, right beside the forecast date — it moves when the scale does. And every number Neato derives now has its sources: the research behind your targets is one tap away from Goals, Help or the Coach.

The App Store, at last

Neato is now a real iPhone app: Apple Health flows both ways, a lock-screen button snaps meals before the app is even open, and Neato Plus can ride your Apple account. Same diary, same account, every device. App Store → search “Neato Health.”

Snap the barcode

Packaged food? Get the barcode in the frame. Neato reads the stripes and pulls the product’s own label — exact name, exact calories and macros, straight from the nutrition database, marked with a 🏷️. No barcode in sight, and the photo estimate works exactly as before.

Swipe the dashboard

The Today dashboard now slides: drag it sideways and the other tabs’ numbers come to you — food macros, the exercise week, the weight chart, the coach’s scorecard — while your timeline stays put.

Pinch the menu, read the fine print

Tap a photo to expand it, then go closer: pinch to zoom, drag to wander, or let the little magnifier step you in. That menu you photographed from across the table — the one with the specials in 8-point type — is now legible. A tap closes it, from any depth.

Pick a date, get a plan

Goals is now a two-way conversation. The plan shows three numbers — what to eat each day, the weekly pace, and the date you’ll arrive — and you can type into any of them: name the calories you can live with, or the pace you want, or just pick a finish date on the calendar and Neato works out the daily calories that get you there. Soft ≈ numbers are Neato’s suggestion; firm ones are your call, and clearing a field hands the wheel back. Underneath, the muscle-and-fat math got real physiology — so bulking plans, body-fat goals, and “how big, by when” questions all answer honestly, with a natural ceiling the forecast won’t pretend past.

Your whole day, one screen

Meet the Today tab — now the first thing you see. Your three numbers up top (to eat, to burn, to lose), and every meal, workout, weigh-in and coach note in one timeline beneath them. One camera runs it all: point Snap at a plate, a menu, the treadmill screen — even a mirror shot — and Neato reads it and logs the right thing. The other tabs keep the deep stats; Today runs the day.

The dashboards tell you what to do

Every tab’s table now ends with a violet row that says exactly what’s yours to act on — To eat, To do, To lose, To tweak. Green means going well, red means act, and anything mid-day stays calm: no scolding before the day is over.

A meal becomes a link

Tap the share arrow on any photographed meal and it becomes a link — the plate, its calories and macros, ready for a group chat. What your friends do with their jealousy is their business.

Neato 1.30 · August 12, 2026

Faster estimates

Meal estimates now answer in a couple of seconds — we benchmarked hundreds of real meals across today's best AI models and put the winner to work, with automatic backup if it's ever unavailable.

Neato 1.29 · August 12, 2026

The dashboard earns its numbers

Before your goals are set, the dashboard shows your real day with honest dashes for the rest — and once goals exist, calibration reads your actual weigh-in history instead of guessing. Entries missing calories now show up as a tappable note under their day.

Neato 1.28 · August 12, 2026

Your log can't get lost anymore

Even if your browser clears its storage, opening Neato signs you right back in and your log comes down from the sync — you'll never even notice it happened. Signing out on purpose still means signed out.

A free month of Plus

Neato Plus now starts with 30 days free — unlimited AI estimates, workout snaps, body-fat photos, and weekly coaching. Cancel anytime during the month and pay nothing.

Simpler goals

The Goals form now leads with what only you know — who you are and where you're headed — and folds the derived numbers (resting burn, rate, macros) behind one Plan line. Tap it to fine-tune anything.

Neato 1.25 · August 11, 2026

Give your coach a personality

In Settings, describe a character — drill sergeant, zen master, sarcastic butler — and your weekly review arrives in that voice. The numbers stay honest; only the delivery changes.

Snap your workout

Point the camera at the treadmill's screen (or your watch's workout summary) and the session logs itself — exercise, minutes, calories.

A burn that calibrates itself

Neato now checks its calorie math against your actual weigh-ins and quietly corrects your resting burn as evidence arrives — so your daily target reflects your real body, not a formula's guess.
